Valentina Povarova was born in Saint Petersburg on 04 June 1954. Аfter the graduation from an art school and an art college she studied in Saint-Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design.
From 1996 she began working in her own studio in so-called “Naïve” style which impersonate the idea of the kind vision of our reality where we find the comfort for ourselves.
For already many years, she is a bright representative of Saint Petersburg Fine Arts world, a member of Russian and Russian-French Artist Associations. She is a participant of local Russian and international exhibitions, auctions and art projects. After years, many of her paintings are in private collection in France, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, China, America and others.
Her warm-hearted paintings invite spectators to explore labyrinths of the magnificent dreamy world filled with kind daily activities: promenades and park strolls, sailing, outdoor games playing...
